Come on out and view all our fun works of art!
Both schools also recently were submitted into the Panoply Billboard Art Contest. Twenty works of art from both school (five for each grade 1-4) were entered from Monte Sano and Jones Valley. Wish us luck in the contest!

We won the Symphony Orchestra Art Contest! Yay! Two students from Jones Valley and two from Monte Sano will be awarded on stage in front of the entire symphony and hundreds of 4th graders on February 23rd. Each year, hundreds of students enter this contest from all over North Alabama. Only 9 fourth grade students' works are selected to be featured in the programs.  (Winners' artworks are printed in the Symphony programs for the 4th grade annual symphony production.) This year's theme was baseball and symphony. We had some very creative drawings! Great job, everyone!

Our Dream Rocket art project has been received by Jennifer Marsh and is online! Jennifer says she loves it. Check out the picts of the Monte Sano painting at dreamrocket.org!

YAM (Youth Art Month) is finally here! Two students from each school (Monte Sano & Jones Valley Elementaries) have been selected to represent our schools in this fantastic exhibit featuring children's artworks K-12 each year at the Huntsville Museum of Art! We will soon have an artist reception for featured artists. If you are interested in taking your child to see other students' works of art, please go some time during the end of February to view these wonderful pieces from so many talented students!
